Transportation & delivery FAQ

  • We specialise in deliveries throughout the UK.

  • Yes, we can deliver and pick up consignments to and from the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

  • Yes, we can deliver and pick up consignments to and from mainland Europe.

  • Yes, our logistics warehousing and transport services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • No, we are not part of a pallet network.

  • No, there is no minimum amount that we will transport for our clients.

  • Yes, we conduct Risk Assessments for delivery sites and for use of Hi-Ab.

  • Yes, we can manage abnormal loads, including overweight or oversized consignments. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements and how we can assist you with your abnormal loads

  • Availability can vary daily. Please contact a member of our team so we can work with you to cover your load on the dates/times you require.

  • Same-day deliveries are often possible - please contact us to see if we can help you with your urgent load.

  • Backloads are available subject to driver availability in the area required. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

  • Yes, we can transport dangerous goods by road as we fully comply with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).

  • Yes, all of our vehicles are electronically tracked, and we can provide updates at any point during the journey.  Please call or email us to request status of your transportation job.  

  • Yes.  Please get in touch with our team if you have a requirement for us to integrate with a third-party system such as SAP.

  • Our drivers complete a full vehicle safety check before departing. Regarding curtain or box trailer loads, our driver will also ensure the load is secure and safe for transport before leaving the site.

  • Yes all our vehicles are locked and fully secured.

  • Transport costs will vary depending on vehicle type, collection point and destination. For a quotation, please get in touch with our team, and we’ll be happy to discuss options with you.

  • Our quotation base rates include fuel, except where otherwise clearly indicated.

  • Yes

  • We ask that next-day deliveries are requested prior to midday, but we aim to be flexible where needed.

  • Yes, urgent deliveries can be arranged. Please contact the team to discuss your transportation needs.

Devanning FAQ

  • In most cases, yes.  We kindly ask that full details of the cargo is provided to us in advance (weights, dimensions, any special lifting requirements, etc). 

  • We can devan many types of trailers or units, including containers, flat racks, flat beds, curtain-siders and box trailers.

  • Photographs and diagrams are always welcome when it comes to planning a de-van.  This helps us to prepare our team and ensure the correct equipment / process is made available for the job.

Warehousing & storage FAQ

  • No there no minimum amount of time that we will store consignments.

  • No, we do not have a minimum threshold quantity for storing pallets.

  • Yes we have the capability to store Dangerous Goods.

  • Yes we operate fully air-conditioned warehouses.

  • Yes our warehouse operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Our warehouses are security-monitored 24 hours a day with CCTV surveillance and on-site by manned security guards.

  • We can be flexible depending on customer’s individual requirements.

  • We can offer pick and pack when required.

  • Any damage will be reported immediately and photos provided.

  • Yes - we have forklift trucks that can handle loads up to 3 tons, pallet trucks and flexi-trucks.

Pallets FAQ

  • As well as stocking new and refurbished standard, Euro and plastic pallets, we are able to offer a bespoke service if you require a pallet specification outside of the norm.  We can also provide 4-way and 2-way pallets, as well as pallet collars.

  • Yes all our pallets heat treated / kiln-dried.

  • No, there is no minimum or maximum number of pallets that you can order from us.

  • Typically, our pallets are available for delivery / pick-up within 24-hours of an order being placed.

Re-works FAQ

  • We understand that every project is different when it comes to reworks and quality control. We provide a fully bespoke, customisable service for every case. So please contact us so we can work with you to provide the exact service you require.

  • In most cases, we would charge on a per unit basis, but this will be reviewed and agreed depending on the details and requirements of the specific project.

  • Yes.  Project requirements will be discussed in detail at the time of quoting, so we can ensure we are able to commit to completing your project in the time required.

  • Yes.  We can provide regular updates on how projects are progressing, in the form of emails, spreadsheets or other reports as agreed with you.

Waste & Recycling Transport FAQ

  • Yes, CCW Services holds a waste carrier/transfer license from the UK Environment Agency.

  • We remove general, hazardous, contaminated, event, and site waste. See above for details.

  • Yes, we offer flexible scheduling and emergency response - please contact us for availability.

  • Absolutely. You’ll receive duty of care paperwork for every collection.

Hazardous & Contaminated Materials Transport FAQ
